About Me

For nearly a decade, I have guided individuals and families through challenging times that we all face. From traversing the estate planning process to administering a loved one’s estate. It can be difficult to know what to do.

I have a wealth of experience to help guide you through it.

My experience

I have gained a broad range of experience throughout my career. I completed my undergraduate law degree and a Masters in law, both at the University of Birmingham. I completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law whilst working full time as a paralegal. I qualified with a traditional high-street firm that offered a full private client service. I enjoyed three years with a boutique firm specialising in agricultural law. Following this I enjoyed roles with national firms specialising in more complex estate planning and trust matters. As you would expect, I have a strong technical knowledge. More importantly though, I combine this with a client-friendly focus to help guide you.

Why I love what I do

Whilst I am supporting my clients in dealing with very emotive matters, it is incredibly fulfilling. I love hearing when clients say “Well, that was a lot easier than I expected it to be”. The idea of putting your Will in place, or, dealing with a loved one’s estate, can seem overwhelming. It does not need to be with the right support. It is incredibly fulfilling and I will never tire of seeing the emotive weight lifted off the shoulders of the clients that I help.

Outside of law

Outside the office, I am incredibly lucky to have my beautiful wife, Lucy, and my two charming children, who are full of love and energy. I enjoy keeping active and when I get chance I love to watch live sport and theatre. I have also recently re-ignited my love for reading.
