Will Writing Service

I always recommend an initial meeting to help me to fully understand your personal circumstances. It is not always possible though, whether it be due to your budget or available time. I therefore also offer a Will Writing Service which can be completed online or via post. .

What is the process?

The five steps to complete your Will thorough my Will Writing service are:

  1. Complete a questionnaire. This will cover basis questions about your assets and details of who you wish to leave them to.
  2. I will review your questionnaire and be will contact you for any further information or clarification as required.
  3. Complete online ID verification
  4. Once I have all of the information, I will prepare and send out to you your draft Will.
  5. Once you are happy with the draft Will, I will send out the final version for signing. I will also provide guidance on the witnessing requirements

Then your Will is complete.

What is included?

The Will Writing service supports you to put in place a single Will or mirror Wills for a couple. Mirror Wills are Wills that couple put in place at the same time on the same. A simple Will may include:

  1. Appointing your executor(s);
  2. Choosing who will care for your minor children when you die;
  3. Leaving one or two specific items such as jewellery or books (within a letter of wishes);
  4. Leaving cash legacies to charity; and
  5. Deciding who should receive the rest of your estate.

What is not included?

The Will Writing service does not include detailed estate planning advice such as:

  1. Inheritance tax,
  2. Trusts,
  3. Beneficiary considerations,
  4. Potential claims against the estate, and

I will recommend where more detailed advice, such as the examples outlined above, may be beneficial. This will be based upon the information provided from your completed questionnaire.
